Victory Christian Ministries reaches out in India
By the time you receive this newsletter,
my ministry team and I will be in Madras,
India ready to travel to Bangalore our final destination.
Perhaps some of you may be a little disappointed because you
were expecting me to continue the accounts of our last mission
trip to Cuba. I assure you that I will continue my report on
our next issue. In the meantime I have to tell you that my
team and I have been very busy making all the arrangements
for this trip.
We will depart on September 30th and will return on
October 16th. We are going to have a very busy schedule.
The Open Door Rescue Mission-India, directed by Rev.
Swapan Chakraborty has invited us to minister to his people.
This is our first visit to India and it promises to be a very
exciting one. Rev. Swapan has warned me that although
the ministry could be very rewarding, because of the
impact in the lives of the people, it is not without risks.
For these reasons I ask you to keep us constantly in your prayers.
Pray for our safety, for favor wherever we go, for
wisdom in everything we do, for the word of God to
have its free course not only in our lives but also
in the lives of those we come in contact with, pray
for our dear brother Swapan, his wife Nutan and for
the ministry to the needy that the Lord has entrusted
them with and thank Him with us for all He is doing
and is about to do in India.
These are some of the things we will be doing:
a) three day conference for ministers from all over
India, since these are very poor people our ministry
is paying for their travel, lodging and food expenses;
b) evening crusades;
c) women's fellowship meetings;
d) youth fellowship meetings and other ministry outreaches with Rev. Swapan.
My ministry team, Junior,
Ginny, Paula, and I are
looking forward to be
instruments use of God
to help change peoples lives for His glory.
Remember, that after all
is said and done we must realize
this one thing: it is all about Him; i
t is all about JESUS!
Your brother in Christ,
Victor
